Start at Macedonia Square, cross Stone Bridge, spend most of the time in the Old Bazaar, then add either Kale or a sit-down meal—not both. Finish at an easy taxi pickup point.

The 4-hour route

00:00–00:25: Macedonia Square orientation and a quick fountain/monument view.
00:25–00:45: Stone Bridge, with one river-level photo if time allows.
00:45–02:30: Old Bazaar main lanes, Daut Pasha Hamam exterior/area and coffee or snack.
02:30–03:20: Choose Kale only if weather, surfaces and mobility are suitable.
03:20–04:00: Return toward Stone Bridge and your pickup/next connection.

If food matters more than the viewpoint

Skip Kale and use the last 60–75 minutes for a properly timed lunch in the bazaar. Tell the venue when you must leave before ordering; table service can take longer than a takeaway pastry or grill.

If rain or mobility changes the plan

Keep Macedonia Square and Stone Bridge brief.
Stay on the gentler main bazaar lanes.
Use the Mother Teresa Memorial House or another confirmed-open museum instead of Kale.
Arrange a taxi from a vehicle-accessible street rather than deep inside pedestrian lanes.

What not to add

Matka Canyon: transport alone makes it unsuitable for this window.
Vodno: current cable-car uncertainty and hiking time make it a separate plan.
