Our method

How we verify information

A museum date and a cable-car closure do not age at the same speed, so we review them differently.

Source order

  1. Official operator, airport, museum or public-authority page.
  2. Recent first-hand local reporting when no current official notice exists.
  3. Established reference sources for stable historical context.

Freshness rules

Transport, closures, prices and seasonal operations receive dated checks and a check-before-travel note. Stable context is reviewed less often. We omit an unverified price or opening time rather than display a placeholder or invent a value.

Conflicting reports

If official and recent local information diverge, the guide states the conflict, uses the safer trip-planning assumption and links the operator so the visitor can recheck.
